Cameo's H.264 DVR is the next generation of PC based DVR systems.  PC based DVR systems until now have been developed with Mpeg4 based compression, MPEG4 creates a small file size but low video quality.  Mpeg4 has major issues when moving objects move in front of a camera such as people walking or cars etc. (this is where Mpeg4 has major video interlace issues). Mpeg4 compression also tends to be very pixilated on full screen playback.  H.264 solves all of these problems.
